The Liferaft Platform 101

This guide will go step-by-step through all aspects of the Broker Dashboard and what you need to know to become a successful Liferaft agent.

Accessing Your Portal

After getting appointed with Liferaft, you will receive an email from support@liferaft.co to register an account and set a password. Then, click the link in that email to log in and see your broker portal dashboard. 

Your broker dashboard is your guide to everything you need to sell Liferaft products successfully. Our quoting tool will provide instant personalized quotes for your clients, while the leaderboard will keep you up-to-date on how your sales compare with our most successful agents.

Placing Business

There are three ways to generate sales on the Liferaft Platform, through the quoting tool, starting a new application, or sharing your personalized referral links via your website, email, or social media. 

Quoting Tool

Liferaft’s Quoting Tool allows you to price out different policy options for your client easily and then jump straight into the application process, prefilled out with your client’s information and policy choices. The Quoting Tool is designed to be straightforward enough to use while talking to a client on the phone, via video chat, or in person.

New Application

When submitting an application for your client, you can use the Quoting Tool or complete an application from beginning to end using the ‘New Application’ button. All Liferaft products are guaranteed-issue, and the few questions in the application are all that is needed from your client to start a new policy. 

Within the application, you can adjust the level of coverage and choose a specific carrier if there are multiple options for your state. As an agent, you will name your application, which will allow you to save your progress and return to it later to complete as needed. 

You can see previously started applications and quotes in the In-Progress Applications and Quotes table at the bottom of your dashboard. 

Referral Links

You’ll find three different referral links for Accident, Critical, and Hospital on your dashboard. Each link will lead to the application. Click the button to copy the link, then you can paste it anywhere, like a text message or email, on your website or Facebook page. Clients can fill out the application independently, and you’ll still receive the commission.

To see what the links will look like to your clients when you share them, you can open them in an incognito window or a web browser where you are not logged into your Liferaft broker account.

Sales Tools

Sales Tools & Info is an excellent place to check for up-to-date information and resources that make it easy for you to sell Liferaft products. Here you will find policy rate sheets and reference documents, email and SMS sales templates, promotional videos, webinars, and helpful reference documents.

Weekly Incentives

Liferaft offers some of the most competitive commissions in the industry, including additional weekly incentives to reward your policy sales each week. You can log in to the Broker Portal to check that week’s incentive. Appointed agents will also receive an email detailing that week's incentive at the beginning of the week. 

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard tracks policy sales by each individual broker, so you can see how your sales compare with our most successful agents. Throughout the year, we reset the Leaderboard and offer prizes to those who come out on top during a specific period. New Leaderboard promotions are announced via email to Liferaft’s appointed agent’s list, so keep an eye on your email, and you could win significant prizes!

Downline Agent Summary

If you are an agency owner or independent agent interested in recruiting agents to sell Liferaft, you can bring them on as a downline agent. All active downline agents associated with your account will show up in the Downline Agent Summary. 

To add a downline agent to your account, fill out this form. Downline agents can be appointed with a one-level or two-level hierarchy, with varying commission percentages depending on the level—email agents@liferaft.co with any questions about adding downlines.
